Smart owners = happy, healthy pets
Nothing is more important than the combination of regular exams and preventative medicine.
Except for love, of course.

Heartworms
Transmitted by mosquitoes, heartworks infect dogs and cats. Indoor pets aren’t completely safe from heartworms, -- 25% of heartworm infected cats live completely indoors. Heartworms damage the heart and lungs, and can even cause death.
Intestinal Parasites
This includes roundworms and hookworms which cause serious illness in pets. Some are even transmissible to humans. So preventing parasites in your pets also helps protect children and other family members.
Ticks & Fleas
Ticks transmit infections like Lyme disease. Fleas transmit tapeworms and Bartonella, causing “cat scratch fever” in humans. You can see ticks or fleas on your pet, but they also hide under your pet’s fur. They're the size of a pin head, making them very difficult to find.
Vaccinations
Protect your pet from contagious diseases with essential vaccinations, including distemper and rabies. Additional vaccinations are available as needed.
