Dr Margaret Cory, DVM
Dr Margaret Cory is a Minneapolis native. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Ecological Stewardship. This degree was designed by Dr Cory and supervised by Dr Gerlach of the Anthropology department to examine how and why humans make certain decisions that impact their environment. This degree combined human geography, cultural anthropology and basic sciences. She then continued her education at the U of MN receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr Cory purchased Wolff Animal Hospital in March 2001. WAH has been in Bloomington for nearly fifty years and has a solid reputation and wonderful, dedicated clientele. Dr Cory appreciates the opportunity to continue to provide quality care in a great community. She especially enjoys strengthening the human animal bond and how that relationship can lengthen the lives of people. Dr Cory shares her home in Minneapolis with her two dogs “Frankie” the boxer and “Maxine” the mixed breed. Her cat’s name is Kiki. She is the bossiest and funniest thing in Dr Cory's life. In her spare time she loves biking, additional outdoor sports and traveling. Most recently, she has returned from Antartica. She was camping, hiking, snow shoeing, kayaking and of course watching wild life. Dr Cory is a member of the AVMA and the MVMA
Somer Myers, Veterinary Technician
Somer has been with Wolff for almost 7 years. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver with an Associate of Applied Science degree.
She started in the business 10 years ago. Favorite parts of the job? Dentistry, sales and radiology. She has a 10 yr old Weimaraner named Princess and a 7 yr old cat named Momma. As a child she knew she always wanted to be in the veterinary field. From all the Benji, Homeward Bound, Where the Red Fern Grows and All Dogs Go to Heaven movies, she knew her purpose was to help every animal she could and see the expressions of joy on owners’ faces. "No matter where I am, you will always find me singing, going to movies or talking about sports. I enjoy everything that I do, no matter what it is."
